The earphone’s hybrid noise-canceling technology faces both internal and external features. Earphones can also dynamically switch between different noise cancellation modes, depending on the amount of stimulus noise. For voice calls, there is a bone voice sensor that is claimed to provide better voice clarity.
Huawei Freebuds Pro will be offered in Silver Frost, Carbon Black, and Ceramic White. The earphones have interchangeable ear tips, and a small stem that supports touch gestures, much like the AirPods Pro. The battery life of the earphone is said to last up to seven hours on a single charge (up to four and a half hours with ANC) and up to 30 hours in total from this case.
They also include 11mm dynamic drivers and support Bluetooth 5.2. Huawei has not specified the types of codecs that are supported. The company says earphones can connect to two devices at once, including Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows devices.
