Microsoft 365 For Business: Tools and Applications

When it comes to business applications and work productivity, the Microsoft Office suite has an unparallel reputation globally. Over 1 million companies worldwide and 80,000 businesses in Australia use Microsoft Office as part of their daily operations. There is little doubt Microsoft Office is the most productive software for businesses. Microsoft 365 For Business is a collection of software that consists of Office 365 and applications like Teams, SharePoint which enhance collaboration and teamwork capabilities.

Traditionally Microsoft Office was available as standalone, downloadable software installed on a user’s computer. With the introduction of  Microsoft Office 365 in 2011 (rebranded as office 365 in 2020), the suite comes with a subscription option. Users can now subscribe to Microsoft applications for a monthly fee. This saves businesses from buying a new version of Office each time a new version is released.

Each Microsoft 365 for business user license contains a comprehensive, user-friendly management toolkit that does not require technical consultants or highly trained experts to implement. All the support is included and provided by Microsoft. Microsoft 365 subscription includes office applications like Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Access, and PowerPoint. Also included in the subscriptions are OneDrive cloud storage (starting at 1TB) and Skype calling minutes.
