Huawei MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15 launched

The new AMD Ryzen, 4000 series CPUs, are announced in China with Huawei MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15. The two latest Laptops are presented in a slim and compact form factor. Both Laptops have precisely the same features and specifications. However, the battery capacity and screen size are different. There are two versions, each of the MateBook D14 and MateBook D15, one with an AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and an AMD Ryzen 7 Processor. These do have full-HD displays with webcams.

MateBook D 15 Price

The model Huawei MateBook 14 Ryzen 5 “AMD” is priced at CNY 4,099 (approximately $584.84), while the model AMD Ryzen 7 is priced at CNY 4,599 (roughly $656.18). The Huawei D 15 “AMD” Ryzen 5 version is priced at CNY 4,199 (approximately $599.10), while the AMD Ryzen 7 version is priced at CNY 670.87 (roughly $670.87). Both models come in two color options — Silver and Space Grey. All the variants are available for sale in China. However, international availability is unclear.

Huawei MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15 Specifications

The Huawei MateBook D 14 and the MateBook D 15 comes with Windows 10 Home. The MateBook D 14 includes a full-HD 14-inch (1,920×1,080 pixels) IPS glossy screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a maximum of 250 nits. The D 15 also comes with similar specifications, but the display size is 15.6-inch. All the devices are driven by an AMD Ryzen 7 4700U chipset and an AMD Radeon Graphics card. Huawei offers 512 GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage and up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM.

Connectivity solutions on both devices included the two Type-A USB 2.0 ports, a Type-A USB 3.2 Gen1 port, an HDMI port, a Type-C USB port for charging, and a headphone jack 3.5 mm. They do have dual-band Wi-Fi and wireless networking with Bluetooth 5.0. Huawei MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15 are equipped with dual speakers and dual microphones. The MateBook D 14 arrives with a 56Wh battery, and dimensions are about 322.5×214.8×15.9 mm, weighing 1.38 kg, while the MateBook D 15 comes with a 42Wh battery, weight is about1.53 kg, and dimensions are about 357.8×229.9×16.9 mm.
