WhatsApp beta for Android has got a new update that introduces the Dark mode with other’ Solid Color ‘ options. The solid color options on instant messaging are intended to allow users to replace the default light-color background pattern to their preferred solid colors pattern. The new beta update version is 2.20.60 and can be installed via the Google Play Beta program. WhatsApp originally released version 2.20.31 on the Dark theme in January and included six solid color options for users.

As we all know that the beta versions are only intended for testing purposes, it is advised to downloading the new update to experience the changes.

Even though Android’s WhatsApp beta has brought six solid colors choice in January, the new update extends the number to 27. It means you’re going to get a selection of additional’ Solid Color ‘ options you can use while using the Dark theme.

Notably, WhatsApp for Android also has a total of 27 solid color choices available to the general public, but those are offered sans the Dark theme currently limited to beta models.

You need to download WhatsApp beta version 2.20.60 to experience the new set of Solid Color options on your smartphone. You need to apply to the Google Play Beta program and then install the latest update from the Google Play Store directly. Additionally, you can use the APK Mirror to sideload the application.

Once you have installed the update, go to Settings > Chats > Wallpaper > Solid Color from your WhatsApp to show the available solid color choices.

As already stated, beta updates are only intended for testing purposes. So, download the new WhatsApp beta edition is recommended only if you want to enjoy the additional solid color options. WhatsApp beta watcher WABetaInfo initially reported the latest beta update to WhatsApp.
