Huawei Watch GT 2e smartwatch debuted On Thursday alongside the Huawei P40 series. The GT 2e smartwatch provides 5ATM water resistance and comes with up to 14 days of battery life. Besides, the Huawei GT 2e comes with a SpO2 sensor to track blood oxygen levels, and around 100 workout modes are available. Of this, 15 are professional workout modes, while the other 85 are custom practice modes. The new watch is a modified version of the Huawei GT 2 that was introduced last year.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e has a curved dial and provides a more sporty look. The smartwatch has two physical buttons on the right site for navigation. Most importantly, it includes an AMOLED display with 1.39-inch (454×454 pixels). Like the Huawei Watch GT 2 launched in September last year, the battery life is reputed to be 14 days on a single charge. There is a magnetic thimble port for charging, and a proprietary adapter will be included in the box. There’s 4GB of storage onboard, and thanks to its 5ATM certification, the GT 2e can be taken during swim or shower.

Huawei Watch GT 2e includes many sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, capacitive sensor, and more are available. The smartwatch also features a SpO2 sensor for calculating blood oxygen levels. It tracks sleep, heart rate and even tracks stress. For better tracking, there is built-in GPS and supports Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity to pair with the tablet. It supports phones running Android 4.4 and higher and iOS 9.0 and higher. The weight is approximately 43 grams.

The GT 2e is priced at EUR 199 and will be available in Europe from next month. It comes in many colors like Black, Lava Red, Mint Green, Stainless Steel, Graphite Black, and Ice White.
